India And Her Malicious Neighbours

Pakistan, as always, from its formative days has only had one point agenda, and that is to keep trying to disturb and disrupt our motherland. Despite being slapped time and again in their every malicious intention, they seem to be adamant that they will stop at nothing. All kind of atrocious activities, deception, deceit, falsehood, human right violation, patronising terrorist activity and eventually shameless denial of all proven offences seems to be in their social DNA. Day after day, they digging deep hole for their own country by trying to disturb our countries inner peace. Yet they do not have will to learn from history.

‘OPERATION SINDOOR’ will be written in the history of mankind with a warning that there is no respite for the perpetrators involved in conspiracy against our motherland. Son & daughters of our soil will avenge them for sure. We have always believed and practised assimilation over destruction as our country’s strength. Unfortunately, Pakistan, as the drumhead they are, interpreted our acts as our weakness, for which they have received apt reply. We know for sure from past history, that no matter how down they appear to be now, the bad blood running in their veins will not allow them to sit for long. Otherwise, they are such inhuman; they placed their own civilians as human shields to cover the terrorist groups sheltered at their land. But, hats off to our soldiers, who have shown tremendous resilience and pragmatism to destroy the enemy without harming innocent people unlike the cowardice Pakistan based terrorists backed by their Army, who targeted innocent tourists and civilians.

Off late, Pakistan in their malicious intent as always, found their new ally by invading and successfully inculcating ill thoughts to a section of the Bangladeshi citizens. Backed by their assurance, Bangladesh has started brooding over the idea to disturb India and its people. A country, which found its identity in world map, courtesy India, is now hate mongering against them.

Though, India have shown to the world that what we are capable of, be it on the battlefield or economic market, we cannot take our neighbouring enemies lightly. As our soldiers are always alert and aware of the situation every moment, as responsible citizens we have to be ever vigilant against possible harmful activities that could possibly be tried by Bangladesh. Because, these days, Trojans, in every possible sense, can make more harm to a country or its people than bloodshed of a war. It is also fact that, the way India is making her stride towards pinnacle, America, China and few other top countries of the world, are taking part in this proxy war waged by Bangladesh. Otherwise, it is too audacious for Bangladesh to even dream of competing us. But, we cannot help if they (Bangladesh & Pakistan) decide to suicide. We only can make sure that on their way, they should not cross our path.

West Bengal, being adjacent to Bangladesh, and geographically sharing the longest border area, and similarity of habitat of people of both side of the border, is quite vulnerable. On top of it, historically vote bank politics with some corrupt people inside our society have allowed Bangladeshi migrants to settle down in Bengal and spread across the country.  This practise is still on and larger section from these people is the bug, harming our country day in and day out. As it is duty of administration to make sure how to stop further infiltration, it is also our duty to be vigilant and find out any anti national activity being happening around and report immediately to appropriate authority.

Piyali Island – Your Weekend Jaunt

More often than not, whenever we contemplate about taking a break from routine city life, our mind starts wandering about destinations pretty common to all of us.   While discussing a jaunt on a fall winter weekend amongst friends, the onus was upon me to find out a place which is close by, beautiful yet not very commonly known to masses. Instantly, the name of Piyali Island popped up in my mind.   Earlier, somewhere I’ve heard of the place but never happened to be there.   However, I’ve started scouring in the internet as well as amongst people who might be aware about it. From the internet, I got desired information to be able to put up to my association. Most of the people I asked though told me about the picnic spot Piyali which is en route to Canning, 24 Parganas (S). But, since I knew that what I was looking for I didn’t pay any heed to it.   Four of friends, including me decided to take up the excursion on Sunday, 21 st January 2018 by local t...

CAA-The Black Spot

Hit by protest against implementation of Citizens Amendment Bill (Citizens Amendment Act, now), West Bengal is writhing. Daily life has become immobile and the role of states’ administrative machineries has become questionable. Be it Rail & Road blockade, brainless destruction of public property or setting fire to trains & busses,    all sorts of vandalism are being showcased in different pockets of the state in the name of protest and instead of taking stern actions against those, state administration watching over as mere spectators is bound to raise eyebrows. If you interpret, after reading up to this point that I’m advocating in favour of this Act and thus voicing against protesters, it will be half truth. Problem with public pandemonium is that very easily sentiments take over from logic. Unfortunately, political intolerance in our country, across all party lines has become such that criticism is interpreted as opposition. CAA itself is deplorable since it direct...

A Memoir of Murshidabad –Bengal’s Bygone Historical Epoch

While planning for our Puja vacation, our mind started wandering. It was primarily because we have not made any significant peregrination for long enough and also because of the fact that deliberating on a tour itself always is an energizer for a thirsty soul willing to run away from the hustle and bustle of city dwelling. Time space was not enough for a long trip yet not very short one also.  We had got 5 days for our tour. After a lot of argumentation and deliberation between two of us, brothers, as to where to head for, we have decided to visit Murshidabad. The reason propelling our decision apart from its being a historical city, which we were contemplating to visit, we have had a nostalgic connection to this place. Our father spent his childhood days in Murshidabad. He used to narrate stories of the place and those narratives left some delightful impression of Murshidabad in our childhood days which we wanted to relieve. We boarded Bhagirathi Express from Sealdah on ...
