Is it justifiable, even if a large number of people go frenzy over a Govt. sponsored accolade, on a working day in the middle of a city center? The city, which is also  happened to be the capital city of a state which is ever struggling to establish an exemplary work culture. Of course, one should not undermine the magnitude of the achievement and moreover its inspirational effect on the society, since primarily it was a govt. sponsored event and all the highest dignitaries were present on behalf of the govt. Kolkata Knight Riders aka KKR, a cricket franchise has won the Indian Premier League 7 aka IPL7 ! ! ! Detractors (!) even opine that, the whole idea of IPL is pure entertainment extravaganza, foiled by cricket, albeit, it is neither domestic nor international cricket tournament.  Now, is KKR a state team?  The answer is no. I was contemplating a ‘Republic Day’ write-up and when started scribbling, while some facts gave me immense delight, some left me with dread dreams.   We have celebrated our 65 th  Republic Day this 26 th January, but as a commoner, while I feel proud of our country being deliberated as one of the super power in scientific brilliance, shown great augury in terms of economic reforms or achieving commendable improvement in plantation and farming, but my heart got infused with dismay, when I think, we have witnessed the assassination of people like ‘Mr. Davolkar’, who fought the war against superstition and black magic. Our head droops with shame when we see incidents like ‘Labhpur’, when we see killing of female feticide in this 21 st century. Practice of anarchism neither fetches any bliss nor any delectation for society. Unfortunately though, some political leaders in our country chairing authoritative posts and suppose to be the guide and mentor for their fellow countrymen, avow proudly of their being ‘Anarchist’. It is very deleterious for our society that people chairing responsible authoritative posts acts like rogue godfather. Being in the administrative authority demands patience, pragmatism, judicious approach and sensibility handling any social issue. But it is very disheartening that govt. authorities of Delhi led by ‘AAP’ demonstrating least of the qualities since last few days. Where are we living? Is it the country we feel proud of? Our culture, our humanity, all we claim of are  being severely challenged by some obnoxious & filthy creatures. Yes, you rightly read, they are neither humans nor animals, coz even animals will scoff at humans, if they can, if we categorize them being humans. However, My urge to the upholders of law and judiciary will be to please make these heinous creatures punish to the highest possible level within the human society!!!
